Stilleven met roemer, glasstandaard en muziekinstrumenten [nl] On a table covered by a cloth the following objects can be seen from left to right: a hymn-book, a gilt glass-stand (`bekerschroef'), a chased silver plate, on which are a watch with a blue ribbon and a key and a partly peeled lemon, a silver handled knife. There is no, or insufficient provenance information known about this object from the period 1933-1945. After investigation, no sources have been found to date that can provide information to complete its provenance in the period. Therefore, no conclusions can be made regarding possible suspicious provenance or involuntary loss of ownership.
De herkomst van dit schilderij is niet sluitend. In oktober 1940 verkocht mevrouw J.M.A. Matthes-Varossieau uit Breukelen dit schilderij aan kunsthandel De Boer, te Amsterdam. Het is niet bekend van wie, wanneer en onder welke omstandigheden mevrouw Matthes dit schilderij heeft verworven. Op dit moment ontbreken aanknopingspunten voor verder onderzoek naar de herkomst van dit schilderij in de periode 1933-1940. [nl]
